Ankle Update

No more cast! After 5 weeks I can finally see my foot again–it is both ugly and beautiful at the same time! While the doctor says to expect a couple more months of recovery he felt it was best that my recovery proceed from here without the cast. There are still possible complications, but the x-rays looked good enough to move forward. Thanks so much for all of your prayers and concern over these past weeks.

It seems the crutches will still be part of our lives for awhile, but over the next few weeks we trust that the range of motion and ability to bear weight will return in increasing measure. Pray for wisdom as I seek to find a good pace of life.
